Marsha
Greenstein, lcmt
Marsha
was inspired to become a Massage Therapist after taking care
of a young boy with severe physical disabilities at a
daycare for children affected by HIV/AIDS. The child’s
Physical and Occupational Therapists taught Marsha several
techniques for stretching and massaging his body that would
allow him to participate in activities he would otherwise be
unable to do. The satisfaction of seeing such a
transformation in his physical abilities drew her towards
her new career as a Massage Therapist, wherein she could
help provide physical comfort and relief for many others.
Whether a
client requires massage for stress reduction and body
rejuvenation or relief from physical or medical conditions,
Marsha works to address the specific needs of her clients in
order to create an optimal and personalized massage
experience.
In
addition to her work as a massage therapist, Marsha is a
nanny for a family with three children in Needham, MA. Prior
to her career in massage, she was the Director of Youth and
Family Programs for the YMCA in Waltham, MA. She holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and
Elementary Education from Lasell College.
Marsha is
a licensed Massage Therapist and a graduate of the Muscular
Therapy Institute / Cortiva, in Watertown, MA, where she
trained in Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Sports, Trigger Point,
Myofascial Release and Prenatal Massage.
